Take Care of Your Kidneys

Join our kidney health workshop to learn more about our kidneys, and how to keep them healthy. The goal of this workshop is to empower individuals with knowledge about kidney disease, prevention, and management. 

This one-hour workshop occurs virtually via Zoom, and is led by various health care providers, including a nurse practitioner, pharmacist, and a dietitian.

 

Topics covered include:

  • What are the kidneys and why are they important
  • What is kidney disease & how it is diagnosed
  • Healthy lifestyle for kidney health
  • Role of medications in kidney disease management
  • Mental health for people with chronic kidney disease

Who Can Attend
Individuals 18 years or older who want to learn more about kidney health, who are at risk of, or living with kidney disease. Caregivers are also welcome.

At the End of the Workshop
You will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to our health care providers. You will also receive helpful resources to support you on your kidney health journey.
